I am honored to have served in the United States Marine Corps and to be married to a Marine Veteran. In 2015, Northwest Battle Buddies gifted my beloved husband a service dog named Gabriel, for which we are eternally grateful! As the Veteran Liaison at Northwest Battle Buddies, I am committed and honored to journey alongside my fellow Veterans as I welcome them into the application and training phases of our program. My why also includes witnessing the growth and camaraderie/family that is created through the journey and grows even stronger as our Veteran handlers, once again, enjoy the freedom and independence they fought for!
