Semper Fi & America’s Fund

Our programs are designed with a commitment to those we serve. The Fund is dedicated to providing immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to our nation’s critically wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans, and military families.

We operate our programs and services through a “needs-based” approach. Staff and volunteers work one-on-one with our service members, veterans, and military families–providing ongoing support for as long as legitimate needs require. Experienced at anticipating needs, our case managers often introduce new programs to further assist service members and military families throughout the journey to recovery and transition back into their communities. The Fund can process, on average, over 130 grant requests each day. We typically deliver assistance within 24-48 hours of receiving an emergency request, and within a week for non-urgent cases.

Northwest Battle Buddies, Veteran applicants are required to pay for their housing and transportation while attending our 5-week program. The Semper Fi & America’s Fund may be a resource, for qualified veterans, for assistance with housing and/or transportation while attending our training program. Please visit their website for more details and qualification requirements. (Requires rating of 70% or higher combat related, PTSD)

LCpl Parsons Welcome Home Fund for Vietnam Veterans

Welcome home! The Fund cares for veterans from every branch of U.S. Armed Forces who have sustained critical injuries or illness from combat operations.

The LCpl Parsons Welcome Home Fund was established in 2018 in honor of Bob Parsons, who served in Vietnam as a Marine Lance Corporal with Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 26th Marines. Wounded in action, he was awarded the Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, and Vietnam Gallantry Cross. Reflecting his distinguished combat service, Bob Parsons’ unwavering commitment to his fellow Vietnam veterans serves as the inspiration for this special program that he initially funded and continues to support. Care is tailored to veterans of all U.S. service branches who are catastrophically wounded, injured, or suffering life-threatening illness from participation in Vietnam combat operations.

American Warrior Initiative

The objective of the non-profit American Warrior Initiative 501(c)3 is to educate, encourage and inspire Americans to give back to our military. A key part of this initiative is the education platform for real estate agents and mortgage professionals.

Boot camps are held throughout the country in which real estate agents have the opportunity to not only receive continuing education credits, but also be a part of our veteran initiatives- wherein we meet local veterans’ needs. The objective in offering the CE course is to provide a platform whereby Real Estate Professionals can be trained and equipped to handle with excellence the home purchase needs of active duty and former military clients.

Also, exclusive to Fairway loan professionals is the Military Mortgage Specialist™ Designation. This Designation thoroughly trains and equips mortgage loan professionals, loan processors, closers, loan assistants, and branch managers to handle with excellence the mortgage loan needs of our active and former military clients.

They fought to protect the American Dream. Let's help them live it.
