Rebekah Gundrum

Veteran, Board Vice Chair

Rebekah Gundrum is the Chief Executive Officer and owner of Triggered 22 LLC, a role she has held since the company’s founding nearly five years ago. Through Triggered 22, Rebekah leads a mission-driven small business dedicated to supporting veterans living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and raising awareness of the veteran suicide crisis. In addition to leading Triggered 22, she has served as Vice Chairman of the Northwest Battle Buddies Board of Directors since 2025 and has been a board member since 2021. She is the organization’s sole veteran board member.

After a distinguished 20-year career in the United States Navy, Rebekah retired in 2021 at the rank of Chief Petty Officer. In 2011, she completed a combat deployment to Iraq with the U.S. Army, an experience that ultimately led to a diagnosis of PTSD. In 2019, Rebekah was paired with her service dog, Trigger, through Northwest Battle Buddies—an experience that marked the beginning of a lasting and deeply personal relationship with the organization. The mission of Northwest Battle Buddies matters profoundly to her, as the organization helped save her life, and she is committed to ensuring that other veterans have access to the same life-changing support.

As Vice Chairman, Rebekah works in accordance with the organization’s bylaws and provides direct support to the Board Chair. Drawing on her lived experience as a veteran and program participant, she actively advocates for Northwest Battle Buddies within the veteran community. Her firsthand perspective, combined with knowledge gained through the service dog training program, brings a unique and invaluable voice to board discussions and strategic decision-making.
