Help Us Support our Veterans
As a Veteran family with a long history of service to the United States, we understand the profound sacrifices made by those who serve. The battle does not end when they leave the battlefield; many Veterans continue to fight invisible wounds like Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). This serious condition affects 11-20% of veterans, leading to severe depression, anxiety, and an increased risk of suicide. On average, 22 veterans take their own lives each day, partly due to PTSD.
PTSD remains a lingering battle, and we feel a deep responsibility to help our brothers and sisters in arms. While there is no cure, there is hope. Northwest Battle Buddies (NWBB) trains and provides service animals to support Veterans with PTSD, helping them manage and reclaim their lives. These service dogs perform tasks like waking veterans from nightmares, interrupting anxiety attacks, and providing a constant sense of safety. Please read more about their amazing work in the “About” tab.
Thank you for joining us in supporting our American Heroes.
